This policy explains what information SudokuKE ("the app") collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. It's written to reflect exactly what the app does — no more, no less.
SudokuKE has no sign-up, no accounts, and doesn't ask you for any personal information. Your puzzle progress (best times, unlocked levels, theme preference) is stored only on your own device and is never sent anywhere. The only data collection that happens comes from the advertising service (Google AdMob) the app uses to stay free.
The app saves the following locally, using Android's standard app storage, so your progress survives closing and reopening the app:
None of this ever leaves your device or is sent to us — we don't operate any server that the app talks to.
SudokuKE shows ads (banner, interstitial, and rewarded video) through Google AdMob to keep the app free. To do this, Google's AdMob software development kit (SDK) may collect and process information such as:
This data is collected and processed by Google, governed by Google's own policies, not by us directly:
If you're located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the app will show you a consent prompt (Google's User Messaging Platform) the first time you open it, letting you choose whether to allow personalized advertising. You can change this choice at any time from the Privacy Options link on the app's home screen.
You can also manage ad personalization at the device level through your Android Settings → Google → Ads, and reset or opt out of your advertising identifier there.
The app offers optional rewarded video ads that grant bonus in-game hints or undos when you choose to watch one. Watching these ads is entirely optional and only affects gameplay allowances — no additional data is collected beyond the standard AdMob advertising data described above.
SudokuKE is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details below so we can address it.
Since your puzzle progress is stored only on your device, you can delete it at any time by clearing the app's data or storage in your device settings, or by uninstalling the app. We don't retain a copy anywhere else.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of data collected about you (for example, under the GDPR in the EU/UK, or the CCPA in California). Because the only data collected is via Google AdMob as described above, requests about that data are best directed to Google directly via the links above; for anything related to the app itself, contact us using the details below.
We may update this policy from time to time, for example if the app's features or advertising setup changes. The "Effective date" above will reflect the most recent revision.
